Melvon Kendell Ivey, aged 33, tragically passed away on November 15, 2021, in Newport News, Virginia. His death was the result of a fatal shooting that occurred in the parking lot of a business along Jefferson Avenue. The Newport News Police Department received a call about the shooting at approximately 11:10 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Ivey with multiple gunshot wounds.
