Hector Menjivar-Chulo, a 42-year-old resident of Midlothian, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed on August 18, 2019, in South Richmond. The incident occurred in the 4500 block of Old Warwick Road, where police responded to a report of an assault at approximately 9:13 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Menjivar-Chulo in the roadway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
