Derrick Bynum, a 33-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, was tragically shot on January 10, 2017. The incident occurred in the 900 Block of N 1st Street, where Richmond Police responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Derrick Bynum lying in a parking lot with severe injuries. He was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. Despite the medical efforts, Derrick succumbed to his injuries over a year later, on April 30, 2018.
