Derrick Bynum, 33, a Black man from Richmond, Virginia, was found in the aftermath of a shooting that brought police racing to the 900 block of North 1st Street on January 10, 2017. Officers arriving at the scene located him down in a parking lot, wounded, in what investigators described as a robbery shooting.
