Deontae Poole, a 31-year-old resident of Norfolk, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed on the night of November 7, 2019, in Chesapeake, Virginia. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of MacDonald Road, where Poole was found dead inside a home from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency dispatchers received a call at 8:54 p.m. reporting a person injured at the location. Upon arrival, officers discovered Poole's lifeless body, and it was confirmed that he had been shot.
