Calton L. Dodd, a 26-year-old resident of Portsmouth, Virginia, tragically lost his life on January 26, 2020. The incident occurred late at night on Cherokee Road, where Dodd was found with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 11:30 PM, and Dodd was promptly transported to a local hospital. Despite the medical team's efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
