Andre Bethea, a 35-year-old resident of Portsmouth, Virginia, was tragically found dead on February 16, 2020. Bethea was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in the 800 block of Nottingham Road. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene around 2 p.m. that day. The Portsmouth Police Department immediately launched a homicide investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding his death.
