In the winter of 2020, the life of 18-year-old Katrez Tyreese Bryant was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. On the evening of Monday, February 17, police officers on patrol in Richmond, Virginia's Gilpin Court neighborhood heard gunshots ring out around 5:40 p.m. Responding to the sound, they discovered Bryant on the second-floor landing of an apartment building in the 200 block of West Charity Street, suffering from gunshot wounds.
