On April 3, 2023, at approximately 8:44 p.m., Richmond Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1300 block of Coalter Street in Richmond's East End. Upon arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Brandon Jackson with an apparent gunshot wound in the 1000 block of Mosby Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
