Derrick T. Horton, a 29-year-old resident of Norfolk, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 26, 2020. Horton was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 2800 block of Earlscourt Avenue, a location off Ballentine Boulevard. The incident occurred early in the morning, with police receiving the call around 6:00 a.m. Despite their efforts, Horton was pronounced dead at the scene.
