On a Monday afternoon, September 14, 2020, the life of 22-year-old Darius Stanyon Brown was tragically cut short in Newport News, Virginia. Around 4:15 p.m., Newport News Police were called to the scene of a shooting on Warwick Boulevard. Upon their arrival, they discovered Brown with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
