In the early hours of Father's Day, June 20, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in Richmond, Virginia, forever altering the lives of several people. In the 200 block of Crane Street, a quadruple shooting occurred, leaving 24-year-old Da’Vonta McLaurin with life-threatening injuries. Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 1:27 a.m., where they found McLaurin suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
