Da'Vonta McLaurin, a 24-year-old father of three, tragically lost his life on June 20, 2021, in Richmond, Virginia. McLaurin was one of the victims in a quadruple shooting that occurred in the Shockoe Bottom area. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning on Crane Street, where McLaurin was shot in the back of the head while standing beside his father, who was also injured but survived.
