In the early morning hours of July 16, 2021, the life of 20-year-old Karl McBride, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a shooting on Chapel Drive in Richmond, Virginia. At approximately 5:44 a.m., Richmond Police were called to the 3300 block of the street following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, officers discovered two men who had been shot.
