In the evening hours of October 21, 2021, the life of 41-year-old Clinton Eugene Knight, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Portsmouth, Virginia. Police responded to a call of a shooting on Vick Street at approximately 8:25 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Knight suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital for medical attention, but despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries.
