In the spring of 2024, the life of a young man, 24-year-old Andrese Jennings, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Portsmouth, Virginia. A male with a future ahead of him, Jennings became another victim of gun violence on the afternoon of April 3rd. The fatal shooting occurred on Airline Boulevard, a busy thoroughfare, plunging the community into sorrow and fear.
