On June 12, 2021, 14-year-old Jada Kahmari McNeill tragically lost her life in Portsmouth, Virginia. The incident occurred around 6:30 PM near Elm Avenue, close to Park View Elementary School. Jada and a 15-year-old boy were found with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Jada succumbed to her injuries, while the other teenager remained in critical condition.
