In the summer of 2021, the life of 14-year-old Jada Kahmari McNeill was tragically cut short in a senseless act of gun violence in Portsmouth, Virginia. On the evening of June 12th, McNeill, a male, was with another teenager, a 15-year-old boy, near Park View Elementary School on Elm Avenue when gunfire erupted.
