In Portsmouth, Virginia, on the afternoon of Saturday, January 24, 2026, a shooting incident on Towne Point Road resulted in the death of 19-year-old Keonte Johnson, a Black male, and left a 5-month-old baby injured. Authorities responded to the scene and discovered that a man had been shot. Despite life-saving efforts by medics, the man was pronounced dead at the location.
