In the West Hills neighborhood of New Haven, Connecticut, a dispute that had been simmering for years tragically boiled over on the afternoon of December 19, 2022. Joshua Vazquez, a Hispanic 16-year-old male, was riding his bicycle on Valley Street, not far from his home, when a black SUV approached him.
