On the morning of May 30, 2019, Jordan Agnew, a 28-year-old Black/African American male from New Haven, Connecticut, was fatally shot in the city's Beaver Hills neighborhood. The incident occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. near the intersection of Osborn Avenue and Blake Street. Agnew was driving his vehicle with a child in a rear car seat at the time of the shooting.
