On a Sunday night in June of 2020, events turned tragic for 29-year-old Robert Lee Joines, a male resident of New Haven, Connecticut. On June 7th, at approximately 10:10 p.m., the sounds of gunfire pierced the air in the 1300 block of Quinnipiac Avenue. When police and firefighters arrived at the scene, they discovered a large crowd gathered in a parking lot. Inside a vehicle amidst the gathering, they found Robert Lee Joines suffering from gunshot wounds.
