On a spring afternoon in New Haven, Connecticut, the life of 29-year-old Lyndell Moore, a Black male, was cut short by gunfire. It was just before 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015, when the incident that led to his death began. Moore was on Townsend Street when he was shot multiple times in the torso while behind the wheel of his car.
