On April 11, 2018, at approximately 12:21 p.m., 35-year-old Eric Lewis was fatally shot on Chapel Street in New Haven, Connecticut. Emergency responders found Lewis with a gunshot wound to the chest; he was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
