On August 6, 2022, 26-year-old Julius Bolden-Lowe of Southington, Connecticut, was fatally shot at Bullseye Billiards & Bar on Main Street in East Haven. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. following an altercation inside the bar that escalated into physical violence and ultimately led to gunfire. Two other individuals were also injured during the shooting. All three victims were transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, where Bolden-Lowe succumbed to his injuries.
