On May 21, 2019, 28-year-old Thomas Hart was fatally shot near the intersection of Congress Avenue and Redfield Street in New Haven, Connecticut. Responding to reports of gunfire around 11:26 p.m., police found Hart unconscious with gunshot wounds to his left side. He was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
