On January 9, 2024, 19-year-old Jahnari “Esco” Smith was found deceased in the driver's seat of a black Nissan Altima that had crashed at The Hills at Greenbriar apartments on Campbellton Road in Atlanta, Georgia. Responding officers discovered that Smith had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
