In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 26, 2022, a grim discovery was made in a business parking lot on Columbia Pike in Arlington, Virginia. Inside a parked vehicle, police found the body of 45-year-old Reginald Scott of Washington, D.C. The male victim was unresponsive, and the preliminary investigation suggested he had sustained a gunshot wound. The case was quickly investigated as a homicide by the Arlington County Police Department's Homicide/Robbery Unit.
