On a Tuesday evening in March, the sound of gunfire disrupted the quiet of a neighborhood in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Concerned residents in the 3300 block of Tanners Way alerted the authorities, who arrived at approximately 8:15 p.m. on March 22, 2022. Their search of the area led them to a nearby wooded area where they made a grim discovery. There, they found the body of 18-year-old Kyshawn T. Johnson of Richmond. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
