Lamar Ballou, a 32-year-old resident of South Boston, Virginia, tragically lost his life on March 31, 2022. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Westside Village Apartments on Sinai Road. According to reports, officers responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m. and found Ballou lying near Building 9 with multiple gunshot wounds. The South Boston Police Department indicated that the shooting was the result of an altercation between Ballou and at least two other individuals.
