On February 7, 2022, Kendall N. Dixon, a 21-year-old resident of Halifax, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed at the Taylor Lofts Apartments in South Boston, Virginia. The South Boston Police Department received reports of possible gunshots near the apartment complex around 11 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of gunfire in the rear parking area.
