In the early morning hours of a Sunday in South Boston, Virginia, the life of 25-year-old Quaheim N. Chandler, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On July 16, 2023, at the Willow Oaks Apartments, an altercation escalated to violence, resulting in Chandler suffering a single gunshot wound. He was quickly taken to Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital for medical attention.
