Eric Lydell Pridgen Jr., a 19-year-old resident of Newport News, Virginia, tragically lost his life on April 13, 2022. The incident occurred outside an apartment complex in Hampton, Virginia, specifically in the 3700 block of Kecoughtan Road. According to reports, Hampton police responded to a call about a shooting at approximately 8 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Pridgen suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
