On the evening of August 25, 2022, Hollis G. Mason II, a 38-year-old Black male, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on West Pembroke Avenue in Hampton, Virginia. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he tragically succumbed to his injuries. At the time of his death, Mason, a resident of Mableton, Georgia, was a father, musician, and entrepreneur who was remembered by loved ones as a dedicated and loving man.
