Isaac Payton, a 35-year-old African American male from Peoria, Illinois, tragically lost his life on September 3, 2021. The incident occurred in the 800 block of Northeast Jefferson Street, where police responded to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found Isaac Payton lying in a grassy area on Wayne Street, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
