Demetrise Chante Simmons, aged 42, tragically passed away on May 6, 2022, in Richmond, Virginia. Known affectionately as "Dee," she was found wounded in her Fairfield Court apartment, alongside her friend Jermorlo Butler, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred on May 5, 2022, around 4 p.m., during a nearby birthday party. Despite the efforts of the Richmond Police Department, no suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
