Jaelyn Nyashia Barham-Wooden, a 20-year-old African American woman from Dinwiddie, Virginia, tragically lost her life on February 15, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia. She was shot multiple times at approximately 10:45 p.m. at an apartment complex located in the 1300 block of Jennie Scher Road in Richmond’s East End.
