On February 5, 2023, 43-year-old Barbie Brown was fatally shot in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of Amster Road, where Barbie was entering an apartment when she was confronted by her estranged husband, 34-year-old Terrell Brown.
