Michelle Rawlings, a 25-year-old assistant basketball coach at Atlee High School, tragically lost her life on December 31, 2018, in what authorities have classified as a murder-suicide. The incident occurred at her apartment in the Kings Point Court complex in Henrico County, Virginia. Police were dispatched to her residence around 7:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve for a welfare check. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Michelle Rawlings and her ex-boyfriend, 24-year-old Tyshawn Buckner.
