In the quiet evening of December 5, 2022, the life of 26-year-old Jordan Summers was tragically cut short on a sidewalk in the 7900 block of Audubon Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia. A concerned member of the community discovered the young Black man lying injured and immediately alerted the authorities. When police and emergency responders arrived at approximately 8:02 p.m., they found Summers suffering from trauma to his upper body. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
