On the evening of December 11, 2014, a 30-year-old man from Edison, Rajab K. Muhammad, was fatally shot in Newark, New Jersey. The incident occurred at approximately 6:53 p.m. in the 300 block of Littleton Avenue. Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene at 7:16 p.m.
