On a late Sunday evening in Irvington, New Jersey, a young man's life was cut short by gunfire. Sean Germaine Meadows, a 21-year-old Black male, was on the 900 block of Grove Street on June 14, 2015, when he was shot. The incident occurred at approximately 10:25 p.m.
Meadows was rushed to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, but his injuries were too severe. He was pronounced dead just 35 minutes after the shooting. At the time of his death, Meadows was a resident of Irvington.
