In the evening of January 18, 2023, the sound of multiple gunshots shattered the quiet of the 400 block of Union Avenue in Irvington, New Jersey. Residents dialed 911 around 7:33 p.m., prompting a swift response from local police officers. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene. A male, later identified as 37-year-old Ibn Vincent, was found suffering from several gunshot wounds. It is believed that his assailants chased him a short distance before opening fire in an alley.
