In the summer of 2015, a tragedy unfolded in the streets of Jersey City that cut short the life of a young man. On the evening of July 22nd, 16-year-old Ronald Witherspoon, Jr. was found with a gunshot wound to his head near the intersection of Monticello and Belmont Avenues, just steps from his home. The young male was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
