In the afternoon hours of December 10, 2020, tragedy struck in Jersey City when 35-year-old Niles Holmes, a male resident of the city, was fatally shot. The incident unfolded shortly after 4:15 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Wilkinson Avenue.
