In the early morning hours of an autumn day in Camden, New Jersey, the life of 34-year-old Jherell Baily was tragically cut short. On Thursday, October 27, 2016, police responded to 911 calls of a shooting at the Chestnut Court Apartments. There, in the vestibule of the building, they found Jherell Baily suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency services transported Baily to Cooper University Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
He was pronounced dead at approximately 2:42 a.m. Baily was a male resident of Camden. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, authorities announced that no arrests had been made and appealed to the public for any information that might lead to a suspect or suspects in the case.
