Johnny Jack, a 73-year-old white male from Juneau, Alaska, moved through downtown on a familiar circuit. Friends saw him on Friday, October 14, 1988, keeping his ritual stop at the Viking Restaurant before heading to the bank and exchanging greetings along the way.
