In the small town of Prue, Oklahoma, a 41-year-old woman named Donna Ann Wilson vanished on February 20, 2011. She was last seen by a neighbor at the property she shared with her boyfriend. Following that day, friends and family grew concerned when they were unable to reach her by phone. Wilson was described as a white female with dark brown, shoulder-length hair that she often wore in a ponytail or braid. She had hazel eyes and two distinctive tattoos: one of Chinese lettering that meant "little tiger" on her right arm. Typically, she dressed in plaid shirts, tank tops, and jean shorts during the summer months and boots in the winter. She was also known to wear a masculine-style watch and occasionally used reading glasses. The initial investigation into Donna Wilson's disappearance yielded few leads, and for a time, her case grew cold. Then, approximately six months after she was last seen, a grim discovery was made on her former property. Human remains were found inside a school bus that had been set on fire. While forensic analysis was unable to definitively confirm the identity of the remains, authorities believed them to be Donna Wilson's, as the description of the deceased matched hers. This discovery shifted the focus of the investigation from a missing person case to a potential homicide. Years later, a significant development occurred in the case. With the assistance of the television show 'Cold Justice,' which re-examined evidence and conducted new interviews with witnesses, investigators were able to build a stronger case. This renewed effort led to murder charges being filed against Donna's boyfriend, Dustin Koelliker, in the summer of 2020. He subsequently turned himself in to the Osage County Jail and entered a plea of not guilty to charges of second-degree murder or, in the alternative, first-degree manslaughter. The case, which began with the quiet disappearance of a woman from her rural home, had evolved into a long and complex homicide investigation, culminating in an arrest years after she was last seen alive.
