In a tragic turn of events, a 29-year-old man, Edward Ross of Camden City, succumbed to his injuries five days after being shot. On the evening of November 16, 2023, at approximately 8:23 p.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the night on the 200 block of North 33rd Street. Camden County Police officers, alerted by both 911 calls and the ShotSpotter system, arrived at the scene to find Ross suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
