In the city of Camden, New Jersey, a violent confrontation on May 21, 2007, tragically ended the life of 40-year-old Perry Baylor, a Black male known to his loved ones as 'Nick'. The incident, which resulted in Baylor's death by gunfire, prompted an immediate and thorough investigation by local law enforcement. Detectives from the Camden Police Department, in conjunction with the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, took the lead on the case, treating it as a homicide from the outset.
