In the early morning hours of a Thursday in Camden, New Jersey, the sound of gunfire pierced the quiet, leading to the tragic death of 22-year-old Tyquan Eason. On July 18, 2024, at approximately 12:52 a.m., officers from the Camden County Police Department were dispatched to the 1000 block of Atlantic Avenue after a ShotSpotter activation indicated gunfire in the area.
