On July 18, 2024, at approximately 12:52 a.m., Camden County Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation indicating gunfire near the 1000 block of Atlantic Avenue in Camden, New Jersey. Upon arrival, officers discovered 22-year-old Camden resident Tyquan Eason near the intersection of Mount Ephraim Avenue and Thurman Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
