In the early morning hours of Monday, March 25, 2019, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Camden, New Jersey neighborhood. Responding to an automated gunfire detection system, police arrived on the 1200 block of Thurman Street just after 2:20 a.m. to find a man lying on the ground, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
