In the early morning hours of December 16, 2022, on the 100 block of North 25th Street in East Camden, New Jersey, Clint Leavy, a 65-year-old male from Camden, was struck by gunfire that would prove fatal. Around 3:20 a.m., the city’s ShotSpotter system registered multiple shots, summoning Camden County police officers to the quiet residential block.
